WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EDITING AND RETOUCHING?
A raw image out of the camera always needs to be edited.

EDITING
First, we crop the image so that you are properly framed in the shot. Then we make adjustments to colours and tones to give our distinct professional look to your photo, while keeping skin tones accurate and flattering. It’s a secret-sauce-recipe type of thing. After all these global adjustments, the photo is now edited.

RETOUCHING
This is the next step in the process, where we make local adjustments to attenuate shiny skin areas, remove blemishes and temporary signs of fatigue, and apply teeth whitening. The photo is now retouched and has that ultimate, premium feel.
Have a look at the example below: from raw to edited to retouched.

COULD I HAVE THE RAW PHOTOS WITHOUT ANY EDITING?
As a professional studio, we only send finished images to our clients, and do not send any raw or unedited photos. This is an industry-standard practice, as sending out raw files would be the equivalent of restaurants giving out raw ingredients for customers to cook them elsewhere.
